The Jefferson County 4-H Scholarship Fund was established in April 1997 by the Jefferson County 4-H Fairboard, the Betty Wehner Memorial, and the Jefferson County Farm Bureau.
The leaders of those entities wanted to create a perpetual stream of support to help Jefferson County 4-H’ers wishing to further their studies after high school. Over $87,000 in scholarships has been awarded since the first winners were named in 1997.
