The Frances K. Eisan Memorial Scholarship was established on September 2, 2013 by members of her family.
Mrs. Eisan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from La Verne College, her Master of Arts degree from Claremont Graduate School, and a Specialist in Education degree from Indiana University. She taught several grade levels in Jefferson County and in the Madison school system. She retired from Madison Consolidated High School (MCHS) where she taught world history and was department chair and program leader of social studies.
This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of MCHS planning to attend any accredited two or four-year college or university, who exhibit academic achievement and financial need.
