The Cheatham Family Scholarship Fund was established in 2021.
Robert and Mildred Cheatham were lifelong Madisonians who loved their community and raised their family here. Their sons, Gene, Buck, Tuck, Bardo, and Larry, along with their daughters, Thelma Wehner, Dot Sands, and Nancy Lee, were lifelong citizens who made signifiant contributions to our fair city.
To honor their legacy, the family created a scholarship fund to be awarded to a graduating senior of Madison Consolidated High School wishing to further their studies at a post-secondary institution.
