COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF MADISON & JEFFERSON CO. AWARDS OVER $344,000 IN GRANTS
Area Nonprofits Receive Funding for Projects Spanning Jefferson County

MADISON, IN –The Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County (CFMJC) is proud to announce that it has awarded $344,137 in grants this year from its Flexible Community Funds and Field of Interest Funds to 24 nonprofit organizations through the CFMJC’s 2024 Competitive Grant Cycle.

This year’s cycle contained a record amount of dollars requested – over $1 million dollars. “Our committee was asked for more than three times the amount that we had available to grant,” said CFMJC President & CEO Bill Barnes. “It’s a challenging task to determine the best investment of grant dollars available and again stresses the importance of the generosity from donors who have created our Flexible Community Funds and Field of Interest Funds.
