The Jefferson County 4-H Development Fund was established in April 1997 by the Jefferson County 4-H Fairboard, the Betty Wehner Memorial, and the Jefferson County Farm Bureau.
The leaders of those entities wanted to create a perpetual stream of support to help fund 4-H related projects for participants, such as 4-H Camp.
