In 2017, Vicky Kreeger Schirmer established the Jefferson County 4-H Horse & Pony Program Fund in Memory of Helen Kreeger. This was a way for Vicky and her family to remember her mother and her contributions to the local 4-H program.
Helen was a prominent businesswoman in Hanover and Jefferson County in agriculture. She attended college on a 4-H scholarsip and was a continued supporter of Jefferson County 4-H.
The Jefferson County 4-H Horse & Pony Program is the beneficiary of annual grants from this fund since Vicky is a former participant, and her granddaughter Isabel is currently in the program.
