The Jefferson County Animal Welfare Fund Endowment was established in 2017.
Animals are important members of our community. The Jefferson County Animal Welfare Fund organization partners with veterinary clinics and nonprofit organizations to improve the lives of companion animals in our community. They provide financial assistance for veterinary care through clinic-based angel funds,, support humane management of community cat populations through spay/neuter and return programs, fund accessible sterilization initiatives, and award grants to local animal welfare nonprofits. By working directly with professional partners, they are helping strengthen the safety net for animals throughout the county.
The Jefferson County Animal Welfare Fund Endowment at the Community Foundation is a Designated Fund that will provide annual grants to support the organization’s mission of caring for our four-legged friends.
