The Madison Beautification Fund is a Field of Interest Fund. It was established in 2019 by Glenna Hanks Wade to provide funding for two things that she is passionate about: landscaping and public art.
Glenna began her 30-year Purdue Extension career in Jefferson County and returned after retiring. “Madison has always been that special place since the early ’70s that I kept coming back to.” She wanted to invest in this community to provide a visual awareness of pride for its citizens and those who come to visit.
Annual grants from this fund will be used during the Community Foundation’s competitive grants process to fund landscaping and/or public art projects in Downtown Madison.
