Della Courtney joined the Bethany Circle of King’s Daughters’ Hospital in 1939. When Della passed away in 1999, she left a bequest to the Bethany Circle, which in turn created the Della Courtney Memorial Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation in 2000.
This fund was created to remember Della’s long standing service to the Bethany Circle.
This is a Designated Fund that provides annual grants to King’s Daughters’ Health so it can continue to carry out its role and mission to serve the health needs of Jefferson County and regional residents.
