The Canaan Cemetery Association established this Designated Endowment in 2024.
The Canaan Cemetery has been the resting place of area residents since 1812, and this endowment was created to ensure that this historic cemetery is cared for and continues to serve generations of families.
Each year, grants from this fund will be made to the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church, which owns the cemetery property, for the benefit of the Canaan Cemetery in the care of the Canaan Cemetery Association.
