The Catholic Cemeteries of Jefferson County Fund was established in 2017.
Cemeteries are sacred places to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Local parishioners of Prince of Peace Catholic Church have established this fund to care for the Catholic cemeteries located in Jefferson County including: St. Patrick’s Cemetery, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, and St. Magdelene Cemetery. This care includes the repair and reconditioning of headstones and memorials. The parishioners who have established this endowment hope others in the church will consider donating as well.
