The Oscar Clinton Bear II Memorial Endowment is a Donor Advised Fund established by Clint’s wife, Nancy Bear, in 2024.
Oscar Clinton “Clint” Bear, a life-long Madisonian, was a well-known guitar builder whose instruments have been used by countless musicians across the country and around the globe. He also gave back to his community through service with Habitat for Humanity, the Elks, and Christ Episcopal Church. To remember Clint and how he gave back to the community he loved, his wife Nancy established this Donor Advised Fund.
Each year, Nancy will have the opportunity to recommend causes and organizations that her family cares about to receive the fund’s available grant dollars.
