The Christie Crafton Memorial Scholarship was established by her family and friends in 1995.
She was a dearly loved teacher at Southwestern Elementary School for 16 years.
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Southwestern High School and at New Washington High School who wish to pursue studies in a field helping children, such as education, nursing, or social work.
