The Deputy Volunteer Fire Company Endowment was established in 2019 by the leadership of the Deputy Volunteer Fire Company.
In December 2018, the Deputy Volunteer Fire Company lost its firehouse, three trucks, and some equipment due to a fire. The community has been very generous in supporting the company during their rebuild. The leaders of the fire company saw this as an opportunity to think about the long-term sustainability of the company and created this endowment to perpetually support the agency and its volunteers.
Annual grants from this Agency Fund will support the fire company as they continue to carry out their mission to protect and serve the Deputy community.
