The Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County activates its Disaster Relief Fund in response to needs created by natural disasters or other relief efforts in our community. 100% of the donations will be used to address needs of those affected in our community and anyone can donate to the fund.
This fund is currently ACTIVE to respond to the needs created by the March 14 tornado(es) and storm.
The Community Foundation works with local government agencies and nonprofit organizations to allocate grants from the Disaster Relief Fund to provide assistance to those in need, and determine how much of its own financial resources will be directed to emergency relief.
