In 1997, the Jefferson County Medical Society established the Jefferson County Medical Society Endowment fbo (for the benefit of) Dr. Hutching’s Office.
The Dr. Hutching’s Office Museum houses many of the doctor’s original items and is always a favorite touring destination due to its unique artifacts.
Annual grants from this Designated Fund are sent to Historic Madison, Inc., which uses the grants to maintain and preserve the property and its contents, and allow the property to be open to the public.
