The Kenneth E. and Mary Lou Dunbar Scholarship to Honor Perry & Dunbar Drugstore Employees is an Scholarship Fund that was established in 2020.
Kenneth and Mary Lou Dunbar created this fund to honor past employees of the former Perry & Dunbar Drugstore located in Downtown Madison. The drugstore has been a staple of the west end of Downtown Madison from 1865 to now, under its new ownership, possibly making it the oldest continuing pharmacy in the Midwest.
This scholarship will be awarded to a Jefferson County, IN graduating senior who will pursue a degree in science or music.
