The Gary Chapman Memorial Scholarship for the Arts was established in 2018.
Gary Chapman was an asset to the Jefferson County arts community. He shared his artistic talents with many, including local students as an art teacher for 33 years with Madison Consolidated Schools. He enjoyed showing his artwork throughout Indiana and Kentucky, and was a member of the Southeastern Indiana Woodturners Association and the Madison Art Club.
To honor his memory and love of the arts, his wife, Kathy, family, and friends, established this Scholarship Fund.
