Prince of Peace Catholic Schools created this Agency Fund in memory of volunteer Dr. Gertrude Geraets in 2015.
Gertrude was a life-long educator and served as an Education professor at Hanover College. After her retirement in 1989, Dr. Geraets volunteered her time at the Pope John Elementary library and at the Madison-Jefferson County Public Library.
Annual grants from this fund are used to purchase textbooks and other educational materials for the students and faculty of Prince of Peace Catholic Schools.
