The Richard Tevis Heck/Ruth Irwin Heck Fund for the Hanover Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1997.
Richard Tevis Heck served as a firefighter in Jefferson County for over 50 years. Thirty-three of those years were with the Hanover Volunteer Fire Company. In order to give back to the fire company he served in, he & his wife established this Designated Fund.
Each year, grants from this fund are made to the Hanover Fire Company to help them fulfill their mission of keeping the Hanover community safe.
