The Heritage Trail Conservancy established this Designated Fund in 2011. The purpose of this fund is to provide perpetual enhancements for Heritage Park, a crucial component of the Madison Heritage Trail Greenway.
The Riverfront Walk and the Heritage Trail converge at Heritage Park, located at Vaughn Drive and Vernon Streets. The trail features indigenous trees and plant materials, and is a popular fitness destination for residents and visitors.
