The Mike Hess Memorial Endowment was established in 2012. Mike’s friends created this Donor Advised Fund to remember their dear, departed friend who touched so many people during his life.
Mike enjoyed NASCAR, all kinds of music, boating, University of Louisville Basketball and socializing with friends and family. He also enjoyed giving charitably to help youth in need afford extracurricular school activities.
Each year, an advisory committee of Mike’s friends recommend to the Community Foundation how grants from it should be used, most likely to benefit the youth of Jefferson County.
