The Madison-Jefferson County Humane Society, Inc. Audrey M. Smith Chapter Fund was established in 1994. It was created through a bequest from the Estate of Marian Smith Palmer. She wanted to remember her mother, Audrey, and also support the role of the Humane Society in Jefferson County.
Annual grants from this Designated Fund are made to the Madison-Jefferson County Humane Society to help them continue to carry out their mission.
