The Jefferson County Veterans Fund was established by Margot and Robin Henderson in 2015. They created this as a way to honor WWII Veteran Bernard Roland Alexander, and generations of Henderson servicemen and servicewomen.
Annual grants from this endowment are made to the Jefferson County Veterans Council, which provides aid and assistance to local veterans.
