In 1993, an anonymous donor established the Frieda Suppes Jones/John Price Jones Memorial Fund.
This fund was created to remember the donor’s great-aunt and uncle and their enjoyment of the environment and their country estate in Pennsylvania.
This endowment is a Field of Interest Fund, meaning that grants support a donor’s particular interest. The Community Foundation staff, Grants Committee, and Board of Directors identify projects to receive this grant funding from within the annual Competitive Grants Cycle. Projects must protect, enhance, and improve the environment of Madison & Jefferson County.
