In 1997, Madison Chemical Company, Inc. established a Donor Advised Fund – The Madison Chemical Company Employee Fund.
Employees at Madison Chemical are able to use payroll deduction to contribute to the fund. In a press release from 1997, Madison Chemical stated that “by empowering its employees to advise how grants will be made from the endowment, they and the corporation can make a much larger impact on the community.”
Each year, a committee of Madison Chemical employees gather and select the nonprofit organizations that will benefit from the fund’s grants.
