In 2006, Dr. Marcella S. Modisett established the Dr. Marcella S. Modisett Endowment for Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana.
In 2013, the Girl Scouts awarded her with their highest volunteer honor of the “Tough Cookie Award.” She also worked with community members to establish Camp Wippoorwill, which still stands as a testament to her love for the Girl Scouts and its mission.
Each year, annual grants from this Designated Fund are sent to the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana to continue making a difference in the lives of area girls.
