Dr. Marcella S. Modisett established the Rinda Rains Memorial Endowment in 2002.
Dr. Modisett wanted to remember Rinda Rains and her 22 years of service as the superintendent of the King’s Daughters’ Hospital that began shortly after the hospital’s opening in 1930.
This is a Flexible Community Fund that helps our Board of Directors address the ever-changing needs of Jefferson County, mainly through our competitive grants process.
