The Julius “Bud” and Irene Ritter Memorial Endowment was established in 2001 by Irene following Bud’s passing.
Julius “Bud” Ritter was a well known teacher and basketball coach at Madison High School. His 1962 Madison Cub team made an appearance in the Indiana Basketball State Tournament Final Four. In addition to his love of sports, he and his wife Irene, contributed to the community.
Coach Ritter and Irene’s names will continue to live on in the community as this Flexible Community Fund makes an impact on the needs of Jefferson County.
