COMMUNITY FOUNDATION HOSTING FREE GRANT CYCLE WORKSHOPS
Nonprofit organizations serving Jefferson County invited to attend
Madison, IN –The Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County invites local nonprofit organizations that serve the residents of Jefferson County, Indiana, to attend one of its upcoming free Grant Cycle Workshops in March 2026. Two sessions will be held in the Business Conference Center of Ivy Tech Community College-Madison:
Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 10am to 11:30am
Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2pm to 3:30pm
Community Foundation staff members will share important information in preparation for the Foundation’s annual Compatitive Grant Cycle that will open on June 1, including funding guidelines and criteria, an overview of the online application platform, and grant application best practices. Staff will also share invormation on a new, large-scale grant opportunity from the recently established G1K program. Nonprofit organizations that have received funding in the past or those wishing to receive grant funding from the Community Foundation and its programs are encouraged to attend.
Organizations can register for the workshops HERE. Registrations must be completed by Monday, March 23, 2026 at 5pm.
Established in 1991 by a group of local volunteers, the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County fulfills the mission of building a strong, vibrant community by helping donors provide perpetual funding for the people, projects, and passions of Jefferson County. In the past 35 years, the Community Foundation has reinvested over $20 million dollars into the community through grants and scholarships.
