For 13 years, the River Rat Rodz Car Club organized the popular Riverfront Run Car Show on Memorial Day weekend.
To continue to remember and honor the service and sacrifice of military members, the car club established this Designated Fund.
The Yancey and Kloepfer families have resided in Jefferson County for generations. Shirley served as a Spanish teacher at Madison and Southwestern High Schools, and retired as the director of La Casa Amiga, which she helped establish in 2003.

To honor her mother’s time as a teacher, as well as her own, Shirley established this scholarship to remember her parents and honor their family’s legacy in Jefferson County.
